Privacy policy
Last updated October 30, 2026.
The short version
Veiling has no accounts, asks for no names, and uses no tracking cookies. What you do on Solana is public by design; everything else we keep to a minimum.
Public on Solana and Arweave
Your wallet address, your transactions, your bids' deposits and what you won are recorded on Solana, which anyone can read and which nobody can delete. Images and details uploaded for a sale are public on Arweave. Your bids' prices stay encrypted.
What this website collects
- Visit counts. We use Plausible, which counts page views and a few actions (such as "bid placed") without cookies and without storing your IP address or anything that identifies you.
- Error reports. When the site breaks, Sentry records the error, the page and your browser type, so we can fix it. We turn off its collection of IP addresses and personal data.
What you choose to give us
- Email reminders. If you ask to be emailed about a sale, we keep your email address with that sale and use it only for those reminders, sent through our email provider. Every email has a link to stop them, and we delete the address once the sale is over.
- Browser notifications. If you turn them on, your browser gives us an address to send them to. We delete it once the sale is over.
- Invites. When you accept an invite, we keep your wallet address, the inviting wallet and the message you signed, to count invite points.
- X verification. When a creator verifies a sale, we keep the X account and the post's link and show them on the sale's page.
We do not sell or rent any of this, and we share it only with the services that deliver it, or when the law requires.
Stored in your browser
The site keeps a few settings in your own browser: the wallet you used last, that you agreed to the terms, an invite you followed, and notes on your bids. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
Other services
Your browser talks to Solana through an RPC provider, which sees your IP address and requests. Your wallet app, Arweave gateways and X have their own privacy policies.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your email address or invite record at any time. Veiling is not meant for anyone under 18. If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
